 Con esta reseña retomamos esta sección que por falta de tiempo dejamos mucho tiempo fuera del blog y que gracias a que nos han solicitado que continuemos publicandolas es que decidimos a partir de hoy ser un poco mas informativos también y que a pesar de que en el programa ustedes escuchan un track de muestra a veces no es suficiente para animarse a adquirir un disco, gracias a todos por sus peticiones y preferencia.

Una verdadera sorpresa resulto ver en la web la noticia de que un nuevo disco de Society Burning estaba disponible, luego de 9 años de ausencia de la escena, es dificil pensar que exista la posibilidad de esperar un nuevo disco de una banda que solo tenia un album en su discografía, sin embargo Society Burning solamente con Tactiq se convirtió en una referencia para muchas otras bandas que actualmente estan haciendo Coldwave, la banda comenzó a dar señales de vida en el 2007 cuando anunció que re-editaria su viejo material, incluyendo el nunca editado "State Of deacay", para finales del 2010 editan de manera autonoma su nuevo  album titulado "Internal Combustion" en una edicion limitada de solo 300 copias.

Es sorprendente en primer instancia descubrir que la banda sigue conservando su sonido y que nunca intentó modernizarse para captar la atencion de un nuevo publico, sino por el contrario recobrar a sus viejos fans, Nausea Ad Nauseam es un track de corte clásico, melodico con unas lineas de bajo profundos e hipnotizantes, y algunos synthes que suenan un poco acidos en momentos, la voz de Daveoramma agresiva y potente como siempre y como lo recordamos en Tactiq,  en "Honestly, I'm lying (lie)", uno de los mejores tracks del disco, al principio nos da la impresion de ser una balada industrial en la linea de otras del tipo a lo Nine Inch Nails, pero luego de 55 segundos entra nuevamente agresiva y mecanizada, los cambios en el track son de lo mejor que he escuchado desde aquel rock industrial de los 90, otro track que definitivamente es mi favorito es "The Monster Under your bed", mecanizado, distorsionado, ruidoso, poderoso, tal como lo fue el verdadero rock industrial en los 90, el riff de guitarra muy pegajoso y otro track que no es ni menos bueno que este es "Exile" que al igual que "Nausea Ad nauseam" podria convertirse en un sencillo en potencia, el disco cierra magistralmente con "Internal Combustion No. 03" y que da la pauta para lo que podria ser su siguiente album, hay que mencionar tambien los excelentes cortes instrumentales que le dan continuidad al album como "Inflatable Buddha" con una base drum and bass y algo de power electronics con riffs de guitarra aplastantes, las post-industriales "Vapor Lock" y "splinter Cellphone", de las que esta ultima y "D1SinT3gRat10n" son actualmente parte de las rubricas, fondos y cortinillas del programa Electroshock

Un excelente regreso a la escena industrial y esperemos que en el proximo disco podamos scuchar mas musica de excelente manufactura como este disco.

A real surprise turned out to see on the website the news that a new album of Society Burning was available, after nine years of absence from the scene, it is difficult to think about the posibility to see a a new release of a band that only had one album in its Discography, but Society Burning only with Tactiq became a reference for many other bands that currently are doing Coldwave, the band began to give signs of life in 2007 when he announced the Reissue of his old material, including the never released "state Of deacay", by the end of the 2010 published in autonomous way its new album entitled "internal combustion" in only 300 copies limited edition.

It is surprising at first instance to discover that the band still retains its sound and never tried to modernize to capture the attention of a new audience, but on the contrary recapture his old fans, "Nausea Ad Nauseam" is a classic cut, A melodic track with some deep and hypnotizing Basslines and some synths that sound a little acids in moments, the voice of Daveoramma is still aggressive and powerful as always and as we remember him in Tactiq, in "Honestly, I'm lying (lie)", one of the best tracks of the album, at the beginning give us the impression of being an industrial ballad in the line of the Old Nine Inch Nails Kind, but after 55 seconds, again becomes aggressive and mechanized, the changes in the track are the best I've heard from the industrial rock since the 1990s, another track that definitely is my favorite is "The Monster Under your bed", mechanized, distorted, noisy, powerful with that guitar driven riffs, as it was the real industrial rock in the 1990s, another track that is not less good than "Nausea Ad nauseam" is "Exile"  could become a potential single, the album closes masterfully with "Internal Combustion No. 03" and opens the path for what could be his next album, there is also mention the excellent instrumental tracks that give continuity to the album as "inflatable buddha" with a drum and bass pattern and some power electronics with crushing guitar riffs, the post-industrial tracks "Vapor lock" and  "splinter Cellphone", of which this last with "d1sint3grat10n" are now part of end credits and identifications of the Electroshock Radio show.

An excellent return to the industrial scene and hopefully in the next album we can listen to more music of excellent manufacturing like this album.
